    1. [OHHOLMES] Michael Franks Family
    2. Hi listmembers - We are trying to obtain photographs of the tombstones of the grandchildren of Michael Franks I (c1725-1793 Fayette Co. PA). I have a dozen or two that I've taken myself, but I wondered if anyone on the list might be a descendant of one of the following and have a photo of their tombstone they would be willing to share? Abigail Moore, wife of Conrad Franks; Jacob Franks II (son of Jacob I) - Jacobs Lutheran Cemetery, Fayette Co. PA Michael Franks III and his wife, Amy First; buried at Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Fayette Co. PA Jacob and Sarah Franks Stroh (Straw), buried at Saegertown Cemetery, Crawford Co. PA Sarah Livengood, wife of Jacob Franks II, buried at West Lawn Cemetery, Paint Township, Wayne Co. OH Jacob Hatfield, buried Acme Lutheran Cemetery, Guilford Township, Medina Co. OH. Catherine Franks Hatfield, buried Easton Memorial Cemetery, Chippewa Township, Wayne Co. OH Phineas First, buried Old Fredericksburg West Cemetery?, Wayne Co. OH. Husband of Elizabeth Franks Fluhart First. John and Barbara Franks Barrickman, probably buried at Barrickman Cemetery, Blackville, West Virginia. James Fluhart (Crawford Co. PA?), husband of Elizabeth Franks Fluhart First. Nicholas and Mary Franks Helmick, ? Abraham and Margaret Kechler Franks, Bureau County, Illinois? John Franks, Sr.; Hillsdale County MI or Hancock Co. OH? George Franks, Greene County, PA? Also Michael Franks II, son of Michael I, burial location not known. John and Catherine Franks Baccus (daughter of Michael Franks I), and their children - Peter and Barbara Hoover Baccus Michael and Margaret Baccus Christian and Sarah Baccus James/Jacob and Nancy Smith Baccus John and Mary Baccus William and Sarah Baccus Snyder Although there are still a few details to finalize, we are hoping to "go to press" with the reprint of the Michael Franks Family History and Genealogy by March 1. The publisher is currently running a limited offer of free photo pages, and we felt this might be an interesting appendix to the original book. Please email me (sflein@aol.com) if you are able to help out on this tombstone photo "quest!" Thanks, Susan Franks Leininger
