I am searching for information on my three g grandparents John GRANT b. c 182 in Pa and Elizabeth TREMAINS Grant b. as daughter of Daniel TREMAINS on 14 DEC 1817 in Wayne Co. She and John were married 6 May 1838 in holmes Co., OH. My 2ggrandfatheer James was born in Holmes on 16 OCT 1840. In 1864 in Mercer Co., he married Isabelle S. ELLIS, the daughter of Johnathan ELLIS and Susanna PRICE ( b. 1813 in MD) E;izabeth TREMAINS Grant died in 1896 in Allen Co., OH I do NOT have a death date for John. Does anyone have any information on the GRANT and TREMAINE(s) families while they were in Holmes CO. I haver located them in the 1850 cenus for Prarie Twp.; however, the census indicates John, Elizabeth, and five of their six children had been born in PA.
