I am new to the list and thought I'd try posting my surnames. Hopefully, I"ll have some luck here! I am looking for Jacob ROOP/ROUP born in 1790 in PA. I don't know exactly when he died. Only that it was between 1850-1860. He married Susanna HOOVER on 16 Jan 1817 in Ohio. They had 7 children (I think). There may have been one or two more or less. The names I do have are: Barbara, Jacob, Daniel, Henry, Margaret, Lydia, Benjamin I have approximate birth years for each of the children. If any of these names look familiar please contact me.
