    3. I am reseaching the James Hall family, Prairie Twp., Holmes County, Ohio,1820 Census, and the John Boyd family, Wayne County, Ohio, Franklin Twp, 1820 Census. Elizabeth Boyd married William Hall, Nov 22, 1819, somewhere in this area. James Hall is in Seneca County, Ohio, by 1830. John Boyd, b. PA, died 1839, Wayne County, Ohio, and is buried at the Moreland Cemetery, as is his second wife, Ann Baine. James Boyd is also listed in the 1820 Census. Is he a brother of John? 3. There is a form that you can use to make corrections to the IGI but this will only add another line of information. They do not delete the old information as I understand from being told some time ago. You will have to visit a LDS FHL for the form. I do not know if this can be done on line yet. 3. I guess it gets hard to find answers if you don't ask questions so it must be time to post something . I am looking for information on the ancestors and descendants of Frederick Marmet and Cordelia Mackey. I'm especially interested in learning more about the descendants of Frederick's siblings and what happened to them. Also, have been trying for some time to place Cordelia in the appropriate family. I've had no trouble finding Mackey's in Holmes Co. but am confused as to just which family group she may belong to. Other than her father's name was William Mackey and he died in 1869, I really have no information on her family of origin. Does Cordelia Mackey name appear in the 1860 Holmes Co. census anywhere? My g-grandfather is the Friederich Marmet that was born Mar. 4, 1851. He was named after a brother that died before he was born. I believe his parents probably had other children after coming to Ohio that I haven't discovered yet. Would like to know what happened to the descendants of his siblings. 2. Hello; Again, you are not alone in monitoring this list. I, also, keep hoping to see something of interest to my research. We have Luke and Martha Marks to find. Their son Levi lived, raised his family and died in Wayne Co Oh. LDS research list Luke and Martha as being buring in Monroe Twp, Ashland Co Oh. However, there is no Monroe Twp in Ashland Co. So, since there is one in Richland and Holmes Co, we have looked there. Richland Co, says they have no record of them. A friend and I spent Wednesday in Holmes Co, checking records of death, burial, tax, etc. Could find no record whatever of Luke or Martha Marks. Does anyone know how one goes about correcting information with LDS? My suspicion is that they never migrated here from Pa. Most of their children were born in Juniata Co Pa. Anyway, we found no trace of them in Holmes Co Oh and had a fun day there, except for the tornado that visited in the afternoon. Theda Denney Zimmerman

    3. You are not by yourselves, I am still hoping to have someone post regarding my families. John and Elizabeth Good came from PA in the 1820's and were there until toward the end of the 1840's. All their children were married in Coshocton Co., except for Abraham who married Mary Ann Patterson in 1842 in Holmes Co. John and Elizabeth did not appear in the 1850 census. If anyone is researching this family and has any idea where they might have gone, I would appreciate hearing from you. John was born in PA in about 1774, but no record of his parents. The second family I am looking for is the family of Charles Patterson b. 1800 NJ and married abt. 1821 to Elizabeth Montgomery. Both are buried in Clark Cem. along the border of Holmes/Coshocton Counties. I just know that a big bunch of you are going to send me all kinds of information, so thank you. Judy

    3. Patricia I don't know how many others are still monitoring the list but I am still around. My Grandfather Albert O McClelland and his father are from Holmes Co. His brother Thomas was in the civil war and wrote about 50 letters back to his family telling about conditions where he was stationed. I have transcripts of the letters. I visited grandfather summers as a child (6-7-8 years old) and loved the farm. [email protected]
