Kentucky .......d. 23 Feb 1899 in Washington Co., Iowa ...........four children all supposedly born in Highland County, Ohio -- ...........Elizabeth Jane, b. 18 Sep 1830, d. 3 Apr 1892 in Washington Co., IA ...........Catherine, b. 16 Sep 1832, d. 11 Oct 1913 ...........Daniel (my g.g.grandfather) ................b. June 5 1834 ................m. Emily Edmonson ................d. 15 May 1912 .....................eight children included John Wesley (a.k.a. "Tint") (my g.grandfather) ..........................b. 14 May 1856 in Kalona, Iowa ..........................m. 23 Jan 1876 to Roxanna Ayers ..........................d. 22 May 1925 ...............................nine children included Nathan Summers Carpenter (my grandfather) ...........John (Jack), b. 14 Feb 1836 ...After John Carpenter's death, Fanny Garver Carpenter married Ephraim Adams. ......They had six more children, the first born in Ohio, others born in Indiana, Illinois or Iowa ......Eventually, they settled in Kalona, Washington Co., Iowa.
