Sherry, I noticed your posting on April 14th that Eliza Ellen Shoemaker m. Richard Stout in 1861. If you learn anything about the Stout family, please share the information. I have a Harriet L. Hibben m. John W. Stout in Hillsboro 6/1/1854. They went to Wabash Co., IN. John may have gone further west, or was a traveling saleman, as Harriet is listed as head of household in the 1860 Census. She returned to Hillsboro and is recorded in the 1870 Census with her two Stout children, but John is not with them. Again she is head of household. I would like to solve this mystery. Thanks. George
