Thanx so much for answering my query, Shirley. There are a few common points in what you sent. Really the only thing that is definitely not a match is mine are from VA & yours from PA. Have you ever researched Simon Akers of Clinton & Highland Co's, OH?? I remember seeing a Jacob Achor in a census & wondering if he was Simon's son. I've searched 45 years & others before me since 1935 for the parents of Henry Akers who was m. 1821 in Estill Co., KY. I decided to try & jump the generation gap & see if I can come down through descendants. Henry was probably German as he & wife Delilah Miller spoke another language in the home & she was German. He had brothers John b. c1894 & Wm b. c1802. I had heard that Simon had quite a large family & that some had moved across the Ohio River to settle in KY. I will keep what you sent. Thanx again, Donna
