I am trying to locate the source of the following quotation about the Wickersham family. It is supposed to be in a book called THE COUNTY OF HIGHLAND by J. W.Klise but may be in something else. Here is the quote: "His youngest son, Joel C., (Wickersham) a partner with him in the woolen factory, was born in Pike County, Ohio, June 15, 1850. He served an apprenticeship in the woolen factory when young, and he has since been in charge of such industries superintending. In 1874, he came with his father to Westboro, and became a member of the firm. For two years, he has been associated with J. M. Boyd & Son, of Hillsboro, in buying and shipping wheat." This is just an excerpt, probably from a larger description of the Wickersham family. Joel's father was James H. Wickersham, an earlier settler of Greenfield, Madison Twp. I would be most grateful for any help anyone can give me on this. I have checked the Salt Lake Genealogical Library and all sources here in Washington State where I live.
