Am looking for info on William Clyde AMBROSE b 13 Dec 1805 d 1 Jun 1886 m Rachel KIBLER 24 Nov 1832 and m Nancy INSKEEP 19 Aug 1875. He and Rachel p/o Sarah L., Susan, Lizzie, Leanne, Mary Jane, Henry Clay and Catherine. Was told he founded the first U.B. church in Ohio, the old brick chapel on Danville Rd., Hillsboro, and that it was named the Ambrose U.B. church. I also have a William C. AMBROSE b 30 Nov 1770 d 23 Aug 1850 m Susanna b 15 Nov 1776 d 18 Feb 1855. From the dates, this could be William Clyde's father and he could have founded the church. Would appreciate any information on AMBROSE, or the church.
