He attested to the pension application of Jacob Surber on 21 Jun 1833 in Highland Co., Ohio deposed by the county clerk at Surber's home. Jacob was too sick to go to the courthouse. He was one of the founding members of Buford Christian Church in Buford, Clay Twp., Highland Co., Ohio, along with John Surber and Rev. David Thompson. I've got sources for some of this if you want. Nathaniel Pulliam (born 30 May 1789 in Virginia, died 13 Oct 1869 in Highland Co., Ohio) who was married in Kentucky to Anne Galloway (born 12 Mar 1791 in Ireland, died 1 Feb 1873). Nathan and Anne moved to Clay Twp., Highland Co., Ohio in 1836, and are buried in Ruble Cemetery in Salem Twp., Highland Co. Nathan was asked to leave his last church because of his activities in the Masonic Lodge. He was the first Worthy Master of the Buford Masonic Lodge, in Buford, Highland Co. On 30 Oct 1843, Ibby's father Henry Surber Jr. bought two tracts of land totalling 85 acres in a bankruptcy sale and gave them "in consideration of love and affection" on 20 Jan 1844 to Ibby and David.
