Hi, I am researching: John J Peabody and Rachel Bish who moved between Brushcreek Twp Highland Co and Franklin Twp Adams Co; Joshua Tudor and Mary Adams who moved between Madison Twp Highland Co and Green Twp Fayette Co OH. John Peabody was born about 1837 in OH he died 13 Jan 1865 while a member of the 175th OVI Co B. He lived in Highland Co during 1850 census with the Jacob Bish family (he was 14). He married Rachel Bish in Highland Co on 2 Nov 1856. They then moved to Adams Co in time for the 1860 census. By the 1870 census Rachel his widow had moved back to Brushcreek Twp Highland Co. Rachel Bish was born about 1835 in OH. She was found in the 1850 Brushcreek Twp Highland Co census living with the Washington Butler family (she was 15). Rachel moved to Hancock Co OH sometime before her death on 17 May 1895. Children: 1. Sarah Rebecca Peabody b. 23 June 1857 2. James Cornelius Peabody b. 30 Oct 1859 3. Francis Marion Peabody b. 26 Feb 1862 d. 9 Nov 1944 m. Phoebe Susan Tudor in Highland Co Oh on 8 July 1883 Joshua Tudor was born about 1798 in VA he married Phoebe Byram on 16 Jan 1823 in Greenfield, Highland Co OH. Joshua is listed in the 1830 Madison Twp Highland Co OH census and the 1840 Green Twp Fayette Co OH census. Joshua died on 2 June 1849 in Fayette Co OH. His widow Phoebe is listed in the 1850 Madison Twp Highland Co census and the 1860 Green Twp Fayette Co census. Phoebe died 14 Feb 1874. Children: 1. Rachel Tudor b. 1825 2. Issac Tudor b. 1826 m.
