Phillip Noland and Nancy Williams were my 3rd great grandparents. I haven't been able to find out any information on them except what was in our family records. I would like to know who their parents were and where in Virginia they came from. Maybe someone can help me out. Phillip was born in Virginia in 1775. He married Nancy Williams when he was 38 years old, so it is possible that she was a second or third wife. She was 33 years old at the time, so she could have been married before also. She was born in 1780 in Virginia. I would like to find out if there were any children by a previous marriage. They were married September 30, 1813 in Highland County, Ohio. They had three children (at least) Benjamin, Phillip and William. They possibly had a daughter, Susanah Nolan who married Daniel Kneisley in Highland County on October 16, 1842. Most of the Nolands that I know of ended up in Boone County, Adair County, Woodward,Iowa, or Prescott, Michigan. Any help anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated! June Noland
