Maybe we can help each other. WILLIAM NINEMIRE is my G.G. Grandfather. The records I've found and copied show that he married RUTH ANN VAN DILLON (spelling on the certificate) in Highland Co, OH on 19 October 1854. My G.Grandmother, ANNIE BELLE NINEMIRE was born 29 December 1865 in Ohio. Then , I found and copied, this marriage license: William Ninemire (widower) married Martha Giffin on 10 December 1868 in Highland Co, OH. So, I'm very interested in the Van Dillon's and the Giffin's!!!!!!!!!!!! Annie Belle Ninemire Henderson's death certificate lists her mother as Martha Giffin, which is understandable as she was about 3 years old when her Dad married Martha Giffin and she probably never thought of her as a stepmother. Also, her husband may have forgotten that Granny Ninemire wasn't her mother when his wife Annie passed away. Do you think that Martha Giffin and Maggie Giffin were sister's? Although, I guess, I'm a blood descendent of Van Dillon's not the Giffin's as I originally thought. Do you have more information on the Van Dillon's? I guess, if I read your message correctly, Luke Van Dillon would be my G-G-G Grandfather. How exciting. Are we related? Or, are we in-laws and I'm related to your husband? If Martha and Maggie are sister's I do have some information on Martha. She ended up in Colton, CA and I have a picture of her somewhere standing on her front porch. Please get in touch, Karen Henderson Sunnyvale, CA >[email protected]< (that's doty_carstensen)
