Hi Beverly! You might look for your VANORSDAL name in Berkeley Co., Virginia (present day Morgan Co. West Virginia. My AMBROSE family came from there to Highland Co. and one of the nephews (Mathias, s/o Daniel) who remained in WV at least for a time married a Nancy Ann VANORSDALL. Many, many of the associated families eventually moved to Highland County. Just a suggestion.......
