Good evening - I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me if there is a Historical Society in Hillsboro, or some where in Highland County, and what it's address is. Is there a location where County records have been compiled and non-court related documents, such as newspapers, preserved ? Would the Hillsboro Public Library have such records ? Specifically, I would like to find where the records or files of Lavinia (Hibben) Dill b. 1843 may be kept. Also, I would like to purchase a copy of 'Folklore of Highland County' by Violet Morgan, published in 1946 by The Greenfield Printing and Publishing Co. of Greenfield, Ohio.
