March 18, 1920. Benjamin Mack Tharp, died at Dayton last Friday. He was born at Washington C.H. , Ohio, April 30th, 1866. He was married to Miss. Minetta Emmitt, of Waverly, Ohio, August 30th, 1888 and to this union were born three children, who survive: Mrs. Wombolt. of Cleveland, Miss. Isabella Tharp and Mrs. McDougle, of Dayton. Mrs Tharp passed away January 9, 1902. On November 15, 1904, he married his wife's sister Miss Eleanor Emmitt, who, with the children and one grandchild survive. Sunday, March, March 7, he was taken ill, passing away Friday evening, March 12, 1920, at his home, 23 St.Marys Street, Dayton, Ohio. ****** Information Submitted by: John W. Emmitt
