Thanks for answering my query! All I had to go on was Colonel N.J. Phillips. I've been searching for over a year for information on him. His daughter, Sarah A., married Wm James Lamberson 3 Dec 1864, probably in Greene co., Mo They lived there for a few years then lived in Barry & McDonald Cos. before moving by covered wagon to Oologah, OK. in 1891. Wm's parents were James Lamberson & Minerva "America" Ward. They are both buried in Rocky Comfort Cemetery. Wm was b. 4 June 1844 in Perry Co., TN-d 13 May 1907 in Oologah, Rogers Co, OK. Sarah A. Phillips was b. 16 June 1846 in Greene Co.,Mo. d. 19 Aug 1925 in Collinsville, Tulsa Co.OK. They had 3 boys & 7 girls.Elizabeth, James, Alva, George, Ida,Stella, Lucy, Ora & I believe a set of twins, Jacky & Etta, who died in infancy.
