Our family has a Civil War reunion book for the 48th Ohio, with a handwritten note inside with Joseph W. Lindsey's name. In my Eastman genealogy I have a Betsey Eastman m. Amassa Lindsey but no further information. Betsey was the sister of my g-g-g-grandfather James Eastman (1761-Abt 1830). Ancestry.com showed Joseph enlisting 4/21/1861.
