It is believed that Susanna ASHBAUGH had two sons before her marriage to Andrew POLLARD. They were John William ASHBAUGH (born 1849 in Highland County) and Aquilla ASHBAUGH (born 1851 in Pike County). The last name of the father of John William Ashbaugh and Aquilla Ashbaugh is thought to be GARRENS or GEARNS. Susanna Ashbaugh married Andrew Pollard about 1853, and after he died she married Joshua HAINES about 1876. Susanna was born February 1828 in Pennsylvania. She died 15 July 1895 in Pebble Tp., Pike Co., Ohio. Any information will be most welcome. jdrake@gulftel.com
