Jan, have you tried the http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com Search Genealogy Library under the "Browse Genealogy Library" section where it says, Recent Additions Online Book Collections . Early New York Families, 1600s-1900s - New! . Ohio Vital Records #1, 1790s-1870s The OHIO VITAL RECORDS section is searchable and has a lot of transcriptions (hundreds, maybe thousands) of the early Ohio families. I had a very quick look and there is material about a Christopher Hussey, a Jacob Hussey, and other entries for a Jane, Lucy, Mary, Polly, Sarah, Stephen, and William Hussey. The references for "Mary" and "Polly" were both marriages that took place a generation (ca 1810) before your search time but the family name is well represented and you might recognize a family you can follow up on and find something for your "Marey" or at least something pertinent about the Hussey family. There is an index and there are some church records with deaths and births listed which is hard to find for this period in history. Good luck. Hope this helps. I just discovered this resource. I, too, am doing research in Ohio in the early 1800's and have found the on-line resources are few and far between for this era.
