I know that John Florence was born 16 Sep 1830 probably in Highland Co., Ohio. (Most of his siblings were born there.) John was the son of Thomas Florence and Mary Springer who married in Highland Co. 26 Apr 1827. I cannot find a cemetery record for John Florence. Does anyone know when and where he died, AND did he marry?? Also missing a death date for his sister Rebecca Florence who was born 15 Sep 1833.

Hello- This is my first posting on your site. The initial stage of my search has been greatly facilitated by members of the Fayette Co., PA site (PAFAYETT-L). Now I hope someone or several of you will be able to provide guidance and data about my family when living in Hillsboro - about 1810 to 1926. My ggg grandfather was THOMAS HIBBEN b. 1760 in PA. Two of his sons, JOHN HIBBEN b. 1785 and SAMUEL ENTRIKEN HIBBEN b. 1804 (and perhaps his brother JOHN HIBBEN b. abt 1755) moved to Hillsboro from Uniontown, PA. I have found the THOMAS HIBBEN family bible which I believe passed down through the hands of both his sons and then given to my grandfather by JOSEPH MATTHEW HIBBEN b. 1847, d. 1926. In the bible an entry states that SAMUEL ENTRIKEN HIBBEN m. MARGARET GALLOWAY in 1837. However, I have other sources that indicate that the following were their children - the first born in 1827 ten years before the date in the bible. JOHN S. GALLOWAY b. 1827 MARY ELIZABETH b. 1829 SAMUEL E. b. 1836 MARGARET L. b. 1836 ELIZA S. b. 1842 THOMAS b. 1842 LAVINIA B. b. abt. 1843 JOSEPH MATTHEW b. 1847 Where should I look for marriage and birth records for SAMUEL's family?
