David McConnaughey Jr., was born in Washington County, PA. 5 Oct. 1806. This would seem to fit with the David Sr., whom you list. Wm. Ferren was born 1 March 1825, in Fayette Co. PA. It just seems that these were interrelated families (including my Archers) who came to PA and then moved on to Highland County, Ohio. I don't have lists of children for the two couples, but I'm betting that some of them are the same as names that appear on your list. I'm planning to go to Highland County his summer. I'll see what I can find about heir families. Barb

Born near Hillsboro, she is survived by her husband, Clinton F. Graves; a brother, Wendell Igo of near Hillsboro, and a half brother Charles Igo of Hillsboro. Mrs. Graves was a member of the Church of Crist at Sugar Tree Ridge near Hillsboro. Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Evans & Toll Funeral Home, Hillsboro, the Rev. I am descended from Jeremiah Archer of Smithfield in Georges Township, Fayette County, PA. He came to Highland County, Ohio, about 1836-1837. I am descended from his son, Jeremiah. Jeremiah senior also had two daughters, Eleanor (b.1804) and Elizabeth (b.1825) Eleanor married David McConnaughey Jr. and Elizabeth married William Ferren. The Ferrens were married in Highland County and died in Highland County. I'm not sure, but I believe that the McConnaugheys were married in PA and came to Highland around the same time as Jeremiah Archer. If you think that we are connected, I'd like to give you the rest of what I have and would be grateful if you could give me any additional information. I've been told that the Archers were from Scotland, so perhaps this was a whole group of famiies that came together. HOWEVER, your ancestors were NOT listed.
