HELP !! It has taken awhile to compile. Nevertheless, I am about to snail-mail a thick package on the Beucler and Rosselot, etc., families from Audincourt, France as they emigrated to Mowrystown, Ohio. I need your three snail-mail addresses. It's about 3/4 inch thick. Also, Jeff Grayson might notify the Highland County that this Beucler and Rosselot material exists. However, the time, duplication and shipping costs necessitate a reimbursement of at least $25 for others wanting the same.
We are looking for the whereabouts of Mrs. Lorimer (G. Anne Rosselot) Clayton or Anne Rosselot Clayton or any of their family. They are/were living in the Atlanta, GA area. These folks supposedly have a lot of genealogical information on the Rosselot family and the Mowrystown, Highland Co., area. Thanks Jim Beucler Phil Beltz
Hello, I'm new to the list and I am looking for information on the SANTEE family. I found an article about this SANTEE family that came from Pa. and settled in Ross and Highland Counties. I am researching the SANTEES in Adams Co. Ohio and would like to connect the two families. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Janet
Am seeking the names of the fathers of Raymond, Carl and Alonzo Norris Eubanks, Sr. Their mother was Exira Eubanks dau of Anthony, but I've yet to learn the names of the fathers. I have been told that a "family Bible" exists with the names of their fathers written in it. Family tale or true story, I don't know. Would like to hear from others researching the Eubanks and Penwell names. ll names.
I would like to know if my early Highland Co Oh families are listed in the FF of HiCo in view of obtaining photocopies of the records. I am a descendant of Henry & Alcy Eubanks and their son Anthony & his 3rd wife Christina Washburn, who was d/o James Washburn & Elizabeth Countryman who md in 1803 in Highland Co Oh. Also descendant of Henry Washburn & Elizabeth West b. 1814 in Highland Co. Oh. Other surnames I am researching in the Highland and Ross County area are EUBANKS, PENWELL, LOSEY, GRIM, CAMPBELL, BOSWORTH (Mayflower desc) A particular query I have concerns Elam P Bosworth (b 1823 OH d?). I lose track of Elam after the 1910 US Census. He was a boarder in Pike County, Oh. Search of records there has not revealed anything. However, his daughter Lucetta Bosworth Losey was living near Hillsboro Oh at the time. I wonder if he went to live with her or was buried there? Any info would be helpful! nfo would be helpful!
My great-grandfather was Grover Carey Sellers of Greenfield, Highland, OH. His first wife was Mary C. Fullerton, born 1849. Her gravestone, in the Greenfield Cemetery, says she was the daughter of H. H. and S. Could someone please check for H. H. and S. Fullerton inscriptions, probably also at Greenfield? Grover married three times; his second wife died in 1891. His third wife is thought to be Sarah (Sally) Reynolds, sister of his second wife. Could someone please check the marriage records for Grover for 1891-99. Thanks, John Sellers

Hello Everyone on the Highland County list ....... :-) Just thought you would like to know........... :-) I have started a Highland County, OH Family Genealogy Webpages Webring.......... http://www.angelfire.com/ri/rindasoul/ring.html to see about getting a collection of the Highland genealogy pages on the net all together in one easy spot for access to others.... :-) Probably, will keep me very busy for a long while, so at first, pages may be slow getting added to the ring......... :-) Rinda Lynn Ferguson........ :-)
Is there anyone out there researching Ewings of Highland county? I have James Ewing and two women, one is Hester Mercer, and I have a marriage record for them for 1843 as a marriage date. The other is Melinda, who was born in the same year as Hester,1822, in the same state as both Jameses, and Hester, Virginia. She is shown with James Ewing in the 1850 Census.. Either one James Ewing was married to two women at the same time, there are two James Ewings in the same county and area, Or Hester is also Melinda. The kids are very close in ages and the names are the same. I am totally confused. The James married to Melinda died in the same year as the James married to Hester. James and Hester had David, William, Rebecca, and J.M. Ewing. James and Melinda had David, William, Rebecca, Jackson M., and Margaret. This was on the 1850 Census. If anyone can help me untangle this I would love it!!!! Evidently in the 1870 census there is a Jackson Ewing living with Hester Ewing!!!! in Miami twp, Greene County, Ohio. I really feel that these are the same families, but the mothers name was misrepresented on the census. For all I know she could be Hester Melinda Mercer or something like that. It stretches me a little to believe that there are two James Ewings in the same county and twp., born in the same year, married to two women who were born in the same year, and all four born in the same state, married in the same state and twp in the same year!!??

I have just started researching the BREWER and the GRANDLE families in Highland and Clinton Counties. My husband's grandparents were Hamer GRANDLE (1899-1960) and Alice Grace BREWER (1906-1991). I have his parents as Charles Preston GRANDLE (1876-1929) and Myrtle Ellen CARL (1879-1959). The GRANDLE's are buried in what was listed as Leesburg Cemetery which is located on Bridges Rd. I have Alice BREWER's parents as Jasper Burley BREWER (1876-1956) and Katie CHALLENDER (1879-1949). Both were born in Highland Co. but buried in New Vienna IOOF Cemetery in Clinton Co. I was told that there is an article on the Grandle Brothers in a book on the city of Highland. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
