The Harrison Telegraph, Cadiz, Ohio, Saturday, November 23, 1824 TWENTY DOLLAR REWARD Escaped from the Ohio Penitentiary, on the evening of the 28th of October last, a convict sentenced from Harrison county, for horse stealing, named William REED, 23 years of age, 5 feet 10 ½ inches high, stout made, grey eyes, sandy hair and fair complexion. Any person delivery said Reed at the Ohio Penitentiary, or securing him within any jail in this state shall have the above reward together with all reasonable expenses.
