I'm new to your list and trying to help a cousin with his HENRY line. I'm looking for information on the following family, particularly the parents of James HENRY. Here's what I know about him. James HENRY b. ca. 1814 in Westmoreland Co., PA, d. 17 Sept. 1895 in Tuscarawas Co. OH, m. Catherine UNKNOWN(possibly HENDRICKS) b. 1817 d. 8 Sept. 1902 in Tuscarawas Co. OH The earliest I've found him in OH is 1840 census in Harrison Co. In 1850, he's in Harrison Co. OH, Stock Twp. Flat Rock. I think his father may be Robert HENRY, but I have no proof of that yet. If the Robert who lives near him in the 1840 census is his father, I suspect he may have died between 1840 and 1850. In the 1840 census he is between 60 and 70. His wife is between 50 and 60. Children of James and Catherine HENRY (there are rumored to be 13, this is all I have found so far). William b. ca. 1839 Robert b. ca. 1838 Thomas b. ca. 1841 James b. ca. 1845 Margaret Jane b. ca. 1844 Elizabeth b. 1846-1849 m. William Gowin Martha b. ca. 1849 Sally b. 1859 John E. b. Dec. 1863 in Leesville, Carroll Co. OH, d. Uhrichsville, OH 1935 I searched your list archives but didn't come up with a match. I'd appreciate any help. Hoping someone connects with this family. Also, are there books, etc for sale by the Harrison Co. Gen Society? I didn't find anything on the web. I've purchased some from Tuscarawas Co and done some research in person there.
