I am not aware of any Shuss/Hoobler marriages.I have branches of each in my tree. You should look around at www.Hoobler.com Several of the Hoobler men had multiple marriages; it is often difficult to keep their children and grand-children clear. Another option is that they all belonged to either the Lutheran Church at Germano or the Lutheran Church at Jewett, and were probably acting as Godparents for each others children. J.R. Maxwell
