It was organized November 7, 1834, by Rev. Joseph Smith of Carrollton. The pastors have included - SAMUEL L. DICKEY, 1882 to 1892 page - 174 In 1887 what was known as the Malvern Clay Company was organized by the following men who were then residents of Malvern. (Carroll Co.) W. H. DICKEY page - 311 A list of the first men sent out by the Board of Registration from Harrison County. All were sent to Camp Sherman and nearly everyone named were inducted into the service September 21, 1917, and all prior to December 15, 1917 : GEORGE N.
