My connection to Harrison County is a great-great-great grandfather Jeremiah BRADLEY. He came from Westmoreland County in 1817 and built a log cabin about 3 miles from Scio and one mile from Hanover. He was married to Martha LUTE and they had seven children David, Mary, Joseph, Mariah, Levi, Susanna. David married Mary MORGAN. Mary married John COOK. Joseph married Isabella WHEATON. Susanna married George SHAMBAUGH. The others did not marry. Names of other family members down the line are RUTLEDGE, RAKE, and SKIPPER. Jeremiah died in Harrison County but I have not been able to determine in which cemetery. His wife Martha moved to Brown County, Indiana and is buried there.
