I am exploring the theory that Ruth Ann FRAME (1818-1900) might have been from Harrison County, and possibly from a Quaker family. I have NO idea of her parents' names, and would like to know a few county things; (1) what would the local Quaker meeting have been, in the county...their names, and location (2) any Frame/Fromm/Frommes in the county that might have been her family. As a married adult, she an her husband, Elisha Phipps NEWLIN, and children moved to Belmont county, ca 1857, from Chester County, Pa, where Elisha was a scion of the NEWLIN family that had been there since emigrating there with Wm. Penn, in 1683. However, I know nothing of Ruth Ann and her family. Elisha and Ruth Ann's eldest child, Elizabeth, was said on several census, to have been born in OHIO (1840), indicating that perhaps Elisha and Ruth Ann had been in OHIO earlier, before the move in 1857...so, it's conceivable that Ruth Ann was actually from Ohio, and THAT'S why I can't find anything about her in PA.. So, any Quaker or Frame info would be appreciated. Sandra
