    1. [OHHARRIS] HARRISON MILLER 100% CONNECTED!!!!!!!!!!!
    2. Kevin Borland
    3. I've finally found a definate answer to part of the Harrison Miller puzzle. I found his mom, and there's no speculation involved. It's an absolute definite match! Harrison Miller (husband of Mary Ann Wheeler and Elizabeth Birchfield Story) had a mother named Catherine! So did the other Harrison Miller in Harrison County, coincidentally. The Catherine that was the mother of my Harrison Miller had her only Miller son Harrison 1818, and then the father (probably Jacob Miller) died either 1818 or 1819, probably while Harrison was an infant. Catherine immediately re-married Michael Hoobler. Harrison also had a son Samuel Hoobler Miller, named after one of his half-brothers! Rumor has it that Catherine's maiden name was Schultz, but I haven't found any first-hand evidence of her maiden name yet. Michael Hoobler was, however, living next to the Schultz family in the 1820 census in German Township, so it's very likely. I just sent an e-mail to the source of the maiden-name information to request whatever evidence he may have. Catherine Schultz/Miller/Hoobler lived to be 102 years old! She's burried just a few plots away from Harrison Miller's first wife! Finding Harrison's father should prove to be quite a challenge, though, since he came to Harrison County (from PA) after 1810, but died before the 1820 census. I'm not sure how to go about this. However, there were only 2 early Miller families in German Township. One was from MD, and the other was from PA. So, my Harrison Miller's father was probably a brother of Peter Miller & Andrew Miller & George Absalom Miller. Note that Peter Miller was the father of the other Harrison Miller, which works out nicely. Andrew Miller was my first suspect to be Harrison's dad because he named one of his kids John K. Miller, as did Harrison. Andrew, however has been proven not to be the father, but it's nice that they are probably the same family! Everything would fit! We have one more clue too. One genealogy says that there was another Miller brother (of Andrew, Peter, etc. generation) named Jacob. Nobody knows what became of him. Harrison had a son Jacob C. Miller!!!!! This might be the missing link! So, to sum it up (after years and years of ordering films, searching through censuses, visiting Harrison County), Harrison Miller had a mother named Catherine, and he was probably the son of Jacob Miller and Catherine Schultz. If this is interesting to anyone, please contact me. If anybody is researching the Schultz family or the Millers of York County, PA, that would help me a lot too! Thanks, Kevin Borland
