OK, so the mystery is solved once and for all!!!! Harrison Miller was the son of David Miller and Mary Schultz!!!!! I had him pegged to Catherine Schultz before because he was acting as if he was a Hoobler. Of course he was going to give information that exactly matches the Hoobler Schultz family. That's because the two mothers had nearly exactly the same information. They both came from Loudound County, VA, for example. Their births weren't too far apart. They both lived near eachoter. David Miller even sold the Hooblers their land! The proof is in this time. I even found the marriage record in 1813. Harrison also had a brother Daniel who married Margaret Foose. He had other brothers and sisters, but I don't know their names yet. David Miller was the son of John & Catherine Miller. Mary Schultz was the daughter of George Schultz and Elizabeth Shoemaker. To sum it up, these are the ancestors of Samuel Hoobler Miller that set foot on Harrison County soil: ------------- |-John Miller |-David Miller-| | |-Catherine ? (some genealogies say maiden name Barnhart) |-Harrison Miller-| | | |-George Schultz | |-Mary Schultz-| | |-Elizabeth Shoemaker Samuel Hoobler Miller -| | |-Benjamin Wheeler II | |-Mordecai Wheeler-| | | |-Eleanor Bosley |-Mary Ann Wheeler-| | |-Benjamin M. Gill |-Keziah Murray Gill-| |-Jemima Murray I have some of these lines back much further, so if anyone can connect, that would be great! Thanks for all your help. I couldn't have come this far without the help of many of the people on this list, and especially the in-person help of Mr. Sparrow, on 2 of my trips out to Harrison County. It seems I'm finally done with researching my ancestors in Harrison County. I still have some work there, like Harrison's brothers and linking up as many of the descendants of my family lines, but all of my ancestors can now be traced to specific counties in other locations. It's been wonderful working with so many of you, and I will keep myself as a member of the list, in hope that I will be able to connect with others that share common ancestors. Thank you all & I hope I can make some more connections. Sincerely, Kevin Borland
