I believe the Thomas CRUMLEY who settled in Short Creek twp, Harrison cnty, OH 1812 from VA was md: 22 Jan 1801 in Berkeley cnty, VA (now WV) to Elizabeth GARDNER and was b: 31 Dec 1776 in Berkeley cnty to William CRUMLEY & Sarah DUNN. I also believe that the John HURFORD who settled in Short Creek twp, Harrison cnty, OH before 1810, from Culpeper County, Virginia may well have been the son of John HURFORD b: 18 Sep 1760 in Chester cnty, PA; d: 03 Jun 1851 in Jefferson cnty, OH & md: c 1784 in Chester cnty, PA Sarah HAYES. As such this John HURFORD would have been the brother of Sarah HURFORD who was the second wife of Adam EYRE, they were md: 02 Mar 1823 in Jefferson cnty, OH. In the 1830 census Adam EYRE & Sarah HURFORD were living in Short Creek twp, Harrison cnty, OH

    3. Judy, do you have a Joshua Crumley that married Susan Coffman (b.Dec. 26, 1840). Susan was the daughter of John Coffman and Susanna Barnhart. The parents were married and died in Fairfield Co.
