I was checking for Martha Maxwell (nee Crossen), widow of Robert Maxwell, in the 1880 census. This family moved from Harrison Co.,OH to Washington Co.,IA. I found her in Crawford twnshp, by searching for her as an individual. The problem is that George Auld, her son-in-law and her daughter, Martha (nee Maxwell)- with whom she was indeed living- are listed as NELD in the online 1880 census at www.familysearch.org I hope this info. saves someone else some time. That Robert Maxwell was a descendant of Thomas, who was the brother to my ancestor Robert Maxwell. Thomas & Robert were sons of Henry Maxwell & Agness Carson. J.R. Maxwell Delaware Co.,OH
