Does anybody know about this man,William Drake,who was living in Harrison Co.,OH.in 1820 & 1830? Where did he come from,who were his wife & children, his siblings & who were his parents? I'm trying to figure out if this man was the father of my 2xgreat-grandfather,Thomas Drake,born to unknown parents in 1810 in MD. or VA. according to later censuses. Thomas Drake married Hannah Browning in Harrison Co.,OH. on 25 Jan.1837. Thomas & Hannah Drake's first child was named William b.1837.Their other children were: Benjamin,John,Thomas Carter(my line),George Washington,Mary,Wesley,Frederick,Cassandra & Esther Drake mostly born in Monroe Co.,OH.. Hannah BROWNING was born circa 1815 also to unknown parents & siblings in either MD. or OH.. By the 1870 census most of the family except,William,George & Thomas Carter Drake had moved to Wapello Co.,IA. where I lose track of most of them. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks a bunch!
