Hi Janet! Could someone who goes to that meeting ask if anyone knows who Thomas Drake's parents were? He was born 1810 in MD. to unknown parents or siblings. He married Hannah Browning 25 Jan.1837. She was born circa 1815 in either OH. or MD. also to unknown parents or siblings. They moved to Monroe Co.,OH. & had 10 children. Their names were: William,Benjamin,John,Thomas Carter(my line),George Washington,Mary Elizabeth,Wesley,Frederick,Cassandra & Esther Ann Drake. By the 1870 census most of the family had moved to Wapello Co.,IA. where we suspect Thomas & Hannah Drake died. I found a William Drake in the 1820 Harrison Co.,OH. census but have not found out who his wife & children were. Any help would be appreciated for these 2 brick walls of mine!
