(the last name is illegible but I believe it may have started with a Mc****). Their first child (that I have a record of) was born about 1860 and was named John Wesley Hines. I would greatly appreciate any help with this dead end. Thanks Kathy

John Clagett Proctor wrote a genealogy called "Johannes Heintz and his Descendants", published in 1918. I am a descendant, one generation removed from those in the book. I have a copy of the book, given me by my grandfather. The Williams listed in the index are: William; William C.; William Carmichael; William M., William McClelland; and William Wyckoff. 'William' appears on four pages: 15, 17, 18 and 30. Pg. 15--William Hines, the son of John Hines, died unmarried. Pg. 17--William, the third child of Citizen James Kennedy. Pg. 18--The 3rd son of C. J. Kennedy was b. 15 Nov 1820 and d. 18 Aug 1910. He married Nancy McDougal 17 Dec 1857. She was b. 29 Aug 1831; d. 18 Feb 1892. Their issue: a) Elisabeth Jane, b) Mary Maria, c) Herman Wilson, d) Anna Selina, and one child which died in infancy. Pg. 30--The only William on this page is William Kennedy, son of Philip Kennedy and Susan Jones. If there is anything else I can look up for you, please ask. Jim Barkley
