Earlier this year there was some discussion on a Thompson Family. I was wondering if someone could help me with some death dates. Samuel and Mary Copeland Groves six children born in Jefferson Co, but raised them in Harrison Co. They were: Oscar Benton Groves who married Jessie Alice Lee( 1882-1981). I have Jessie's obit and it says that her husband died in 1963, but I have not been able to prove that or find a more exact date. Anthus Mae Groves (1882-1956) married William T. Wilson. I have her obit, but when did William die? Amanda Eva Groves married William L. Gardner. I have no information on this family. Clara E.(Carrie) Groves married Fred A. Thompson. I have birth dates of 21 Feb 1891 and 16 June 1888 respectivly for them, but no idea where or when they died. Lucie E. Groves married Clarence Stewart. I have obits for both of them. Lizabeth Maude (Bessie) Groves married James Forrest Hosterman. I found an obit for James, but would like to know when Bessie died. Most of them are probably buried at Fairview Cemetery in Jewett. I would like to find obits if possible, but without death dates... Serena in Michigan
