ROSE b. 13 Oct 1800 PA m John VAN HORN 22 Mar 1821 Harrison Co. OH 4. Jacob ROSE b. about 1802 PA m Elizabeth "Ebeliza" THROCKMORTON 12 Aug 1824 Harrison Co. OH 5. Amos ROSE b.21 Dec 1804 PA m Elizabeth GARNER before 1831 Harrison CO. OH (cannot find marriage information on him). 6. Hugh ROSE b. 21 Dec 1806 PA m Julian GARNER 01 Jul 1828 Harrison Co. OH 7. Gardner ROSE b. about 1808 PA m Ruth COLEMAN 02 Jan 1827 Harrison CO. OH 8. James ROSE b. about 1810 VA(?) m. Lucinda FARRINGWORTH 31 May 1832 Harrison Co. OH 9. Nancy ROSE b. about 1812 PA m. Benjamin ANKRIM 22 Mar 1832 Harrison Co. OH 10. John Stanley ROSE b. about 1815 VA(?) m Elizabeth"Betsy" Jane FORD 08 Jun 1843 11. Susannah ROSE b. about 1817 Unknown place m. Unknown STRAHAN. This information comes from Robert's will he says."Item Second: And where as my sons Hugh Rose; Henry Rose and my daughters Susannah Rose alias Susannah STRAHAN; and Martha Rose alias Martha Stephens, as they have not acted as sons and daughters to me, I do therefore declare that the sum of one dollar, shall go in full of all right title, interest, claim and demand, whatsoever, which they may or can have, or pretend to have, of claim of a) its all or any part of my real or personal estate;" I have been able to find all of the children as of the 1850 Census of OH. Here is where they were located at that time. 1. Henry was in Loudan Twp, Carrol Co. OH pg 73 lines 37-42 2. Martha was in Washington Township, Harrison Co. OH... Widow 3. Mary was in Mill Creek Twp, Coshocton Co. OH pg 225 lines 14 - 22 4. Jacob was in Crawford Twp. Polk Co. OH 5. Amos was in Washington Twp, Harrison Co. OH, pg 426 Line 21 - 29 6. Hugh was in Nottingham Township, Harrison Co. OH 7. Gardner was in Franklin Twp, Harrison Co. OH 8. James: I was unable to locate a James ROSE married to a Lucinda. I am still looking and trying to verify the marriage information I have. 9. Nancy was in Washington Twp. Harrison Co.ON 10. John was in Washington Twp. Harrison Co. OH 11. Susannah UNKNOWN location... Cannot find Susannah STRAHAN. Of course this might be mispelled.. He mispelled Mary's husband's name...he said it was Van Harn instead of Van HORN.
