    2. Oh! Missed that, I guess. I am interested in the HOWELLs because I think they may be related to my HARRIS-DICKERSON line. I am descended from Mary Ann HARRIS and Joshua C. DICKERSON, m. 1853 Belmont County, sometimes lived in Harrison Co. After Mary Ann died in 1879, some of the children lived with Howell families, which really makes me wonder what the connection was! Would you by chance have any info on this? Susan Osburn

    3. Speaking of Howells in Harrison County, does anyone have a Ferguson, McClain or Harper associated with a Howell (in the early 1800s)? In some family information I have, the last name Howell is noted, but not with any given names.
