Hello list, Is there anyone in Harrison County who would have the names of men who served in the War of 1812. I was trying to locate any information about Duncan Oliphant who served in the War Of 1812, probably as a volunteer infantry man. Are there any lists for 1812 online? Thank you, John

John, Try this URL for the Ohio Historical Society. They maintain the rosters of Ohio Soldiers in the War of 1812 searchable on line. http://www.ohiohistory.org/resource/database/rosters.html They do NOT however have the rosters for the regular army in the War of 1812. Those would be at NARA.
