Hi List, Does anyone have access to the 1930 or 1920 Census for Ohio? I am looking for any BEETHAM's. I suspect that there will be some, as a branch of my BEETHAM family, emmigrated to the Jewett area in the late 1800's. I found Rev. John BEETHAM and his wife Mary listed on the 1870 census index at Ellsworth Township, Mahoning Co. Also it looks like John was naturalised in 1874, but in Cuyahoga County. I know that they died (John in 1905, Mary in 1890), in Jewett, Harrison Co. As far as I can tell they had 2 children, Rupert and Charles. There were other members of the BEETHAM line which I have found details from the Ellis Island site, who also went to the Jewett area. Robert Emory BEETHAM (nephew of Rev. John), died in Kendal, Westmorland, England, 27 Aug 1938, but I know he went to Ohio in 1904. Did he stay? I also have knowledge of a Sarah BEETHAM who died in Staveley Villa, Jewett on 11 Apr 1938, details from a death announcement in the Westmorland Gazette newspaper, here in England. Was she Robert Emory's wife? There was a Sarah BEETHAM who also travelled to Ohio in 1906, but I believe that this was Robert Emory's mother, and she died in 1915 and is buried in Staveley, Westmorland. If anyone can help with putting this family together, it would be wonderful. Thanks very much, Bob Bond Kendal, England
