Is there anyone on the list researching John Haun/Hone or John Shilling. I found John Hone on the 1840 census Harrison Co., German Twp. living next door to John Shilling. Then in the 1850 John is missing but Catherine Haun in listed with children that fit ages from the 1840 census along with an 87 year old John Shilling. I believe John Shilling is the father of Catherine Haun. Can anyone verify this. Trying to find the ancestry of Margaret and Catherine Haun who later marry Gotschall/Gutshall brothers.
