Surnames: Tipton, Young, Shaw, Hiles Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/1YB.2ACI/734.2.1 Message Board Post: Hi Trenton, I know exactly NOTHING about the Youngs, Tiptons outside of what little I have on my website. I would absolutely LOVE to know anything and everything you are able to share with me. My connection to family is this: My father was the son of Harvey Raymond Hiles (ggrandson of Jared Young and Mary Jane Tipton thru their daughter Martha G. Young) and Gertrude Ann Whitcomb. But my father was raised by his maternal aunt, Katherine Marie Whitcomb (aka Irene). She raised dad as her only child and gave him the last name of one of her spouses: WILLIAMS. He didn't find out who his birth parents were until he was 32. Very little time was spent with his birth family. Consequently, we have no family information, or stories or anything. What I have on my site, I have pieced together recently. And as you see, it's not much. Would love to know more, Kris
