My great-grandparents GEORGE OSBORN and MARY C. (CROSS) OSBORN were residents of and about Kenton. George was born in Hardin Co. Nov. 1841, and died in Kenton Dec. 1908. He was a veteran of the 45th O.V.I. Mary C. was born abt.1848-50 in Logan Co., and died Nov. 1931 in Kenton. Both are buried in Grove Cem. Their children were Elwood, Bertha, Elderado, Pearl, Martha, Clarence (my grandfather), and Warren. I believe George's parents were JACOB E. and AMY OSBORN. I believe George's siblings were Sarah, Samuel(?), Ann, Isaac N., Mary, Ruany(?), Edwin(?), Andrew, Martha. Mary C.'s parents were PETER and SUSANNAH (WHITE) CROSS. Mary's siblings were Phoebe, Alexander, Margaret, Rosannah, Nancy, George W., Joseph P., Sarah, Albert(?), Minerva(?). I would like to correspond with anyone researching the OSBORN (and variants), CROSS, and WHITE surnames in Hardin Co.
