As I understand it, the Sherman Nichols I am looking for was from Kentucky. I know that he died in Warner, Oklahoma on May 11, 1942. My father in law has his birth as May, 1875. Sherman Nichols was my father in laws grandfather. His father, Thomas Alonzo was a son of Sherman Nichols. I sure hope this is your same Sherman as we have been trying so hard to track this down.
