I guess that I sent my own message back to me. This is all so confusing. The Sherman Nichols I am looking for was married to a Jennie. His son, Thomas Alonzo, was my father in laws father. Thomas was born in Louisville, Kentucky in August of 1897. My father-in-law, whose name is Sherman Lee Nichols was born in Oklahoma and remembers going to Sherman's funeral in Oklahoma in 1942.
