Anyone connected out there to a General John Ross who died in Hardin County in 1848? Or perhaps a William or John Robb who both died in the county prior to 1850? William had a son named Samuel and a daughter named Dorcus. They were siblings to a Logan County, Ohio bunch. I have not found anyone who is connected in 5 years to the General John Ross and have been told that he has a fairly new headstone, meaning someone with a connection must have paid for it. Would love to correspond with all ROSS and ROBB researchers in the county as they must be connected as far back as 1840. They probably came from somewhere in Pennsylvania.
