Can anyone with the cemetery books tell me if their is a David Ross buried in the county who may have died prior to 1850? I have since learned that he was a Surveyor for the county from 1842-1844. Also would like to know if he was in Hardin County in 1840 and about how old he would have been. I have another Hardin/Logan Ross family that named one of their sons David Nelson Ross, possibly for this gentleman. -- Richard Ross - ----------------------------------------- Boone County, Iowa CC http://www.rootsweb.com/~iaboone/ Lyme, Connecticut CC http://www.rootsweb.com/~ctclyme/ Putnam County, Missouri CC http://www.rootsweb.com/~moputnam/ Schuyler County, Missouri CC http://www.rootsweb.com/~moschuy2/ Sullivan County, Missouri CC http://www.rootsweb.com/~mosulliv/ Vernon County, Wisconsin CC http://www.rootsweb.com/~wivernon/ Wayne County, Iowa CC http://freepages.history.rootsweb.com/~rkross/wayne/ ROBB-L Listowner COMSTOCK Board Administrator - ------------------------------------------ Ross Clan Genealogy **1830 Ohio Census for Ross** http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~rkross Terry's Cemetery Restoration and Repair http://www3.50megs.com/bnkterry/
