Fernwood Dr., Lima Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Bayliff and Son Funeral Home in Cridersville with the Rev. Nathan Smith officiating. Burial will be in the LaFayette Cemetery. She died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lima Convalescent Home. She was born Oct. 5, 1885, in Allen County to Wesley Clinton and Caroline Melville (Thompson) Johnston. She married Walter Harrod and he died in 1909. She then married the Rev. Watson Kerschner, and he died Oct. 16, 1945. Surviving are two step-daughters, Mrs. O. E. ( Dorothy) Mustain of Olmstead Falls and Mrs. John (Ruth) Vollbrecht of Dayton; two stepsons, Robert Kerschner of Cincinnati and Marion Kerschner of Middletown; a brother John W. Johnston of Lima, and a sister Cloe Carmen of Route 2, Ada. She was a graduate of Christ Hospital School of Nursing a Cincinnati, and had been employed as a registered nurse at the Piqua Memorial Hospital while she was a resident of Pleasant Hill. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Christian Church. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p. m. today and from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Sunday.
