You might find a county history available through the Hardin County Genealogy Society. They have a variety of publications for sale. You could possibly find someone there to check the library as well. Another alternative is http://www.higginsonbooks.com . This company offers reprints of many original county histories, and other books of genealogical interest. I know that they sell histories specific to Hardin County. However, much of what they offer is quite costly, so it will depend upon how much you want the particular book.
